• develop required web applications and services by participating in systems design and architecture and following sound development methods, tools and techniques
• with technical implementation, following clean code principles
• test, deploy, maintain, and improve the services
• implement tools and best practices for release, environment, and configuration management to improve deploy success rates.
• contribute to best practices for creating elegant, efficient, and reusable code
• demonstrate your creative, technical, and analytical skills on a regular basis
• identify and work with people and systems impacted by functional and non-functional requirements
• collaborate with other global tech and cross-functional teams to work towards global tech solutions s]
Your team
You will be working in Group Compliance, Regulatory & Governance (GCRG) Tech as a Software Engineer. This crew engages with various projects and is responsible for compliance and regulatory relevant change deliveries
Your expertise
• 10+ years of professional application development with server-side technologies – Core Java & Java EE, Spring Boot, Spring Framework and build tools Maven/Gradle/Ivy
• Good understanding of Microservices and RESTful implementation. Familiarity with API security with OAUTH2/OIDC
• expertise in implementing multi-threaded solutions and High-Availability Deployments
• 3+ years’ experience in Web UI development covering HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and React JS
• skills in writing efficient SQL and work on relational databases like PostgreSQL / Azure SQL / Oracle, including Hibernate/JPA, Entity/Table Design, Transaction Management and Stored Procedure implementation.
• familiarity in building cloud native applications using containers and Azure Kubernetes Service and adopt DevOps principles for task automation and CI/CD pipelines
• familiarity creating Azure Dashboards for monitoring of Azure resources, auto ticket creation and job scheduling tool like Autosys
• deep understanding of all aspects of the application development (SDLC), design patterns and support life cycle. Strong in analysis, development methodology, testing strategy and troubleshooting issues.
• background in the banking/financial services industry, with preference in the Control Room & Information Barriers domain managing UPSI/MNPI
