Climeworks removes CO₂ from the air to fight global warming and protect future generations to come.
We develop, build and operate direct air capture (DAC) machines which capture CO₂ directly from the air. The captured carbon dioxide is removed from the air by safely storing it underground, permanently.
Founded in 2009 by engineers, Christoph Gebald and Jan Wurzbacher, Climeworks was built with a mission to inspire 1 billion people to remove CO₂ from the air, and is now spearheading the DAC industry globally. It has the world’s largest DAC facility and storage installation in operation and a team of over 300 Climeworkers determined to contribute to a net-zero future.

Your mission
Job description
- Your mission at Climeworks is to support the Legal & Compliance team in operational, administrative and legal matters, enabling efficiency and excellence in all aspects of the team's work.
- You will ensure efficient workflows within the team and be responsible for the interfaces of the Legal & Compliance team with other internal and external stakeholders.
- You will provide support and guidance on contracting processes and handle contract management.
- You will compile, maintain, file, and share information and documents related to Legal & Compliance matters.
- You will maintain and expand internal knowledge resources.
- You will support budgeting and invoicing processes and handle relationships with external service providers.
- You will assist with maintaining and further developing legal tech tools.
- You will draft and revise various documents, including minutes, presentations, and legal notices.
Your story
Requirements
- You have a commercial education or similar (paralegal-specific education is a plus).
- You possess 3-5 years of professional experience as a paralegal or legal team assistant in an in-house legal department of an internationally oriented company or a commercial law firm.
- You have a good understanding of legal terminology and corporate legal practices.
- You have very good MS Office skills (in particular, Teams, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and bring a high affinity for modern communication tools and technologies.
- You are skilled in using e-signature, contract management and other common legal tech tools.
- You are a proactive organizational talent with a strong commitment to quality.
- You are an autonomous, discreet and reliable team player with a distinct service-orientation.
- You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- You are proficient in both English and German.
