Job Description

For one of our teams based in Vienna we are currently looking to hire Quality Control Scientist with a focus on method transfer and validation. Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Planning and execution of a method transfer
• Responsible for analytical investigations and problem solving activities
• Writing of analytical documents linked to the method transfer in English
• Support of Validation / qualification of analytical equipment
• Supporting international method (especially HPLC, UPLC and wet chemistry methods) transfer projects

Qualifications

For this interesting opportunity we are looking for somebody with

• Bachelor / Master degree or PhD in analytical or pharmaceutical science or biochemistry/ food chemistry, preferably with first industrial experience in the relevant area
• Fluent in English written and spoken, German would be beneficial
• Proven proficiency in technical writing (e.g. publications, thesis, project reports)
• Experience in HPLC/UPLC covering various detection systems and standard analytical procedures like Karl Fischer, UV/VIS, titrations would be an advantage
• Expertise with method transfers
• Previous experience working in a GMP environment
• Experience in international project teams would be desired

The collective agreement minimum salary (employment group (Vewendungsgruppe) III) for this position is at least EUR 2155,43. Due to the responsibilities and the challenging tasks and with appropriate qualifications, there will be an appropriate overpayment.
