Join our talented team at the forefront of groundbreaking developments in battery recycling. Your job is to make sure everything runs smoothly and in line with regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, quality standards, and process management, along with a passion for sustainability and environmental protection.

Tasks

⚙️ Role & Responsibilities

In this role, you operate as the interface between procurement, logistics, and engineering:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards for consistency and compliance throughout the organization.
  • Ensure that the organization complies with relevant regulations and certifications, such as the ISO-certification, REACH or waste licence.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality tests, inspections, and corrective actions. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate performance metrics and trends to management and stakeholders.
  • Plan and supervise internal and external audits, e.g. from suppliers, certifications or clients.
  • Provide training and support to employees on quality standards, safety procedures, and best practices. Foster a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • You are open to acquiring further qualifications that are beneficial both for you and the company.

Requirements

🪄 Your qualification

  • Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field. Master is a plus.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a quality management, compliance, or occupational health and safety role, preferably in the recycling or environmental industry.
  • Know-How: Strong understanding of regulatory requirements & compliance standards, as well as experience with conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • People Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to motivate and align teams towards common goals, dealing with change and adversity.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Ability to handle the flexibility and fast changes of a startup environment.
  • Passion: A strong passion for sustainability and driving positive environmental impact through innovation.
  • Languages: Fluency in German and English are required.
  • Plus Points: Holding relevant certifications like Certified Safety Professional (CSP), "Abfallbeauftragter" or similar are a plus.
