At SCAYLE Payments, Product Managers help build innovative payments products our customers love. Product development is an extremely collaborative effort between finance, risk & compliance, engineering, and customer-facing teams. In order to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Product Manager (m/f/d) to join our dynamic team.
As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of our payment gateway platform, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers and partners.
What you will do
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize product requirements based on business objectives, customer feedback and market trends
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic goals and vision for the payment gateway platform
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features and enhancements
- Work closely with engineering teams to translate product requirements into actionable user stories and technical specifications
- Drive the implementation of new features and functionality, ensuring alignment with architectural guidelines, security standards, and regulatory requirements
- Act as a subject matter expert on payment technologies, APIs, and integrations, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external partners
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop go-to-market strategies and support product launches
- Monitor product performance and KPIs, gather feedback from customers and stakeholders, and iterate on product features to optimize user experience and drive business results
Who you are
You have minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on technical products and platforms, preferably in the payments industry
- You have proven track record of successfully managing complex technical projects from concept to delivery, with a strong understanding of agile methodologies and software development processes
- You have deep knowledge of payment technologies, including payment gateways, processing systems, card networks, and alternative payment methods
- You have strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making ability, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value
- You have experience working with APIs, SDKs, and integration frameworks, with a solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
- You are familiar with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the payments industry, such as PCI DSS, PSD2, and GDPR
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- You are self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering exceptional products and services
Nice to haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- You have experience working with payment service providers like Adyen, Klarna, PayPal, PayU, Nexi/Concardis, etc and have a solid understanding of at least one of their settlement & payout processes
