Blade Engineer, Commercial Support (f/m/d)
Blade Engineering NCE is a branch-out department focused on technical support for sales and service in North and Central Europe (NCE). The department supports all three pillars of Vestas service: Onshore, Offshore and Multi-brand (3rd party turbines).
Responsibilities:
- Technical support to service sales and service contract managers (including direct customer support)
- On-site assessment of blade damages and reporting of these internally and externally
- Technical review and suggestions on contracts (SAA and TSA)
- Technical support on blade related service sales
- Technical support for legal disputes
Qualifications:
- Good understanding of customer management and technical sales
- Engineering background (B.Sc. or higher)
- At least 3 years in Wind Industry - preferably in service or technical sales
- Good technical understanding of blade technology and repair methods
- Experience in wind turbine service - blade maintenance
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to explain technical problems in simple terms
- Understanding of a renewable energy business
- Experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) or other structured problem solving technique
- Strong communication skills in English, both oral and in writing; German desirable
Competencies:
- Experience in communicating with customers on technical issues
- Ability to communicate complex issues in a pragmatic and accessible manner
- Good overview and planning skills
- Readiness to travel: 20 days per year
